Grid Connection: Multiple options including 330kV and 500kV substations within 40 km
Climate Action & Energy Transition
Hargraves Energy is designed to:
Decarbonise the Grid
By generating up to 300 MW of renewable energy through 44 wind turbines, the project will significantly reduce reliance on fossil fuels. This clean energy will help NSW meet its Energy Security Target under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020Support the Central West Orana REZ
Strategically located within the REZ, Hargraves will feed clean energy into a coordinated, high-capacity hub, delivering reliable and affordable electricity while reducing emissions
Economic Development & Local Benefits
Hargraves Energy is more than a power project—it’s a regional development initiative. It will:
Create local jobs during construction and operation
Support local suppliers and contractors
Enable long-term investment in community infrastructure
