Climate Action & Energy Transition

Hargraves Energy is designed to:

  1. Decarbonize the Grid
By generating up to 468 MW of renewable energy through 60 wind turbines, the project will significantly reduce reliance on fossil fuels. This clean energy will help NSW meet its Energy Security Target under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020.

  2. Support the Central West Orana REZ
Strategically located within the REZ, Hargraves will feed clean energy into a coordinated, high-capacity hub, delivering reliable and affordable electricity while reducing emissions.

  3. Enhance Productivity in Agriculture

Our project design is focused on maximising opportunities to enhance Agriculture within the project area using industry best practise and initiatives such as Agrivoltaics.

Economic Development & Local Benefits

Hargraves Energy is more than a power project—it’s a regional development initiative. It will:

  • Create local jobs during construction and operation

  • Support local suppliers and contractors

  • Enable long-term investment in community infrastructure
