Balmoral by the Glass - 23 August 2026, Sydney

We're proud to be a Silver Sponsor of Balmoral by the Glass, bringing the best of the Mudgee region to Sydney's shores on Sunday 23 August. 🍷

The wine and food festival showcases more than 20 wine producers from one of Australia's most celebrated regional wine destinations. With a viticulture history that stretches back to 1858, the region is home to more than 35 cellar doors and welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year to experience its wineries, food, landscapes and hospitality.

We are committed to working with local communities and supporting the sectors that underpin regional prosperity, including agriculture, tourism and viticulture, and helping ensure regions like the Central Tablelands of NSW continue to thrive for generations to come.

With our project Hargraves Energy, a hybrid renewable energy project integrating wind and solar generation with storage, located only 40km southwest of Mudgee, we're looking forward to celebrating the people, producers and community spirit that make this region such a special part of regional Australia.

Small Farm Field Days, Mudgee – 10-11 July 2026

🚜 Great to have the team back at the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days this weekend talking about our Hargraves Energy project.

Events like this are a reminder that successful energy projects start with face to face open relationships in the regions. There's no substitute for being on the ground, listening to local perspectives, answering questions, and having honest conversations about opportunities and concerns.

At Energy Estate, our development approach is built on the principle that projects should be shaped with communities, not simply delivered to them. That means taking the time to understand local priorities, creating shared benefits, and ensuring regional voices help guide project outcomes.

Thank you to everyone who stops by for a chat - we value the insights, feedback and local knowledge that help make projects stronger and more connected to place.

Looking forward to continuing the conversation across the Hargraves Energy project and the wider Central West region.

Hargraves Site Visit – 11-12 May 2026

It was great to spend time again in Mudgee this week – it’s a timely reminder that the most valuable part of project development still happens face to face.

Sitting down with landholders, local businesses and community leaders gives a very different understanding than any map or model ever could. You hear what matters on the ground – how projects intersect with farming, tourism, and the identity of a place – and that shapes better outcomes.

At Energy Estate, that approach is built into how development is done. Our development principles put community engagement, regional benefit and long‑term co-existence with existing industries at the centre of every project.

You can see that in the Hargraves Energy Hub near Mudgee – a large‑scale wind, solar and storage project designed not just to generate clean energy, but to:
- work alongside ongoing agricultural use
- minimise additional infrastructure impacts by leveraging existing corridors
- support local industries like wine and tourism
- involve communities early and meaningfully

We look forward to being back in town again at the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days in July, when we return for the second year running to continue our engagement with the local community and businesses in the region.

The Energy Charter Roundtable - February 2026

The Energy Charter Roundtable held in Mudgee in February reinforced a simple but critical point: Communities must feel projects are happening with them, not to them.

Getting this right means showing up, listening properly, and designing projects in partnership with local people.

Ultimately the strength of these projects won’t just be measured in megawatts, but in the relationships that underpin them.

Small Farm Field Days, Mudgee – 11-12 July 2025

We were proud to be part of this year’s Mudgee Small Farm Field Days, joining over 20,000 attendees in celebrating innovation, sustainability and community in regional Australia.

Our team had the opportunity to connect with landowners, local businesses, and fellow developers including ACEREZ, EnergyCo, Vestas, RDA Orana, and the NSW Water Ombudsman . Across two days we spoke with more than 100 visitors to our stand, sharing updates on our projects and hearing first hand what matters most to the community.

A special highlight was the soft launch of our Hargraves Energy Project, part of our broader Green Belt strategy to deliver enduring outcomes for regional NSW. We’re excited to continue these conversations and build partnerships that support clean energy, agriculture and local resilience.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by out booth to chat about:
- renewable energy opportunities across the Central West
- agrivoltaics and sustainable land use
- community partnerships and regional development

Events like Mudgee’s Small Farm Field Days remind us why we do what we do - building a cleaner, more resilient energy future that woks hand in hand with local communities.

We’re looking forward to continuing the conversation and collaborating on projects that deliver real benefits for the region.
